Deutsche Bank is a multinational universal bank headqaurtered in germany. It is well established and has a strong presence in Western Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Having played an important role in the development of German industry in the late 19th centurey it has recently turned its attention to developing its investment banking division, after acquiring a British investment bank in the 1980s.
