One of UOBIFS's proudest achievements this year is the establishment of its investment banking division, which enabled 18 of its most talented students to undertake an analyst position and originate detailed M&A reports. This experience helped many members receive internship offers and other opportunities in the industry. UOBIFS is also developing a mentorship scheme that will allow its members to receive direct one-to-one advice from senior leaders in tech, finance, law, and other fields.

UOBIFS's senior advisory board, comprising James Codling and Dan Mannix, two very senior executives with extensive experience in venture capital and investment management firms, is assisting in the establishment of this mentorship scheme. He was recently promoted to Head of the Investment Banking Division, demonstrating how UOBIFS initiatives can help further career opportunities.
